Billy Powell Tribute Memorial Scholarship
Dr. Billy L. Powell, Jr., who practiced orthodontics in the Humble area for the last 35 years, passed away on March 15, 2022.
Billy was a graduate of Humble High School class of 1978. After completing his education at Baylor, UT, and UCONN, he chose to return and build his practice in his home community.
Billy had a passion for God, family, his patients, staff, students, and life. He was always involved in the community and transformed countless smiles. He was not just a doctor, but also a teacher and mentor who touched the lives of all who knew him.
Nothing would honor Billy’s legacy more than sharing his faith in Jesus Christ and helping students pursue their education.
