Scholarship applications for the 2025-2026 academic school year will open on October 13, 2025.
Scholarships and Qualifications

The Andy Wells Memorial Scholarship honors Andy Wells, a dedicated educator and principal who served Humble ISD for over three decades. One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a senior student from Kingwood High School who plans to attend a community college or trade school.

Applicants must intend to pursue a degree in Studio Art, Art Museum studies, or Secondary Arts Education and have at least a 3.4 GPA. One senior student will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Applicants must attend Atascocita High School and be active members of the All-Sports Booster Club. Selected recipients will receive a minimum of a $1,000 scholarship.

Applicants must be Officers of the Atascocita HS Student Council and have at least a 2.0 GPA. One senior student will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Applicants must be an active member of the Atascocita HS Student Council for at least two (2) years and have at least a 2.0 GPA. One senior student will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Applicants must attend a Humble ISD high school, have a 3.5 GPA, and intend to pursue a career in the health sciences. One senior student will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

This scholarship is established to honor the life, character, and spirit of Brenda Prothe. To honor Brenda’s memory, this scholarship will award $1,000 to five seniors chosen from among the Humble ISD high schools.

This scholarship is given in memory of Kingwood High School student Caleb Hill. Applicants must be a student at Atascocita HS, Kingwood HS or Kingwood Park HS and plan to attend community college or trade school. One senior student will receive a $500 scholarship.

Applicants must have the intent to attend a post-secondary institution with a genuine interest in pursuing a liberal arts education. One senior student will receive a $1,350 scholarship.

This scholarship is awarded to at least one student-athlete in Humble ISD who is involved in the community, performs in the classroom, demonstrates good character, and participates in athletics competitions. Five senior students will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

The Coogan Family Scholarship Fund has been established in memory of Alex and Parker Coogan. Applicants must attend Kingwood High School and have participated in athletics. One senior student will receive a $2,000 scholarship.

This scholarship is available for students who have participated in the SCHS Orchestra program during all years enrolled at SCHS. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing. One senior student will receive a $500 scholarship sponsored by Texas State Optical-Fall Creek and one senior student will receive a $1,500 scholarship sponsored by the Gonzalo Gonzalez Memorial Scholarship Fund.

This scholarship is in memory of Kingwood High School Student Darren Han. Applicants must attend Kingwood High School and have participated in math related activities. One senior will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

The Dream Team is looking for graduates who want to make a difference while pursuing their dreams. What YOU DREAM about is our main goal. Applicants must have at least a 2.0 GPA and be a senior currently enrolled in Humble ISD. At least one senior student will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Applicants must have completed 5th grade at Elm Grove Elementary and demonstrate characteristics of good citizenship. Two seniors will each receive a $500 scholarship.

Applicants must attend Humble ISD and must be from economically disadvantaged households. Scholars should be First Generation College Bound (FGCB). Two senior students will receive a $500 scholarship.

This scholarship was established in 2024 in memory of Louise Ruth, also known as Grandest, who loved to garden. Applicants must have a 3.0 GPA and intend to pursue a degree in horticulture. One senior student will receive a $3,000 scholarship.

Applicants must have attended Greentree Elementary for at least three semesters and a Humble ISD high school for at least two semesters. Multiple students will receive a $500 scholarship.

This scholarship was established in 2024-2025 to celebrate the first graduating class from Groves Elementary School. One graduating senior, who attended Groves Elementary during their elementary school years, will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA, must intend to major in education and attend a Texas college or university. Two senior students will each receive a $1,500 scholarship.

Applicants must attend Humble ISD and intend to pursue a career in health science. One senior student will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

This scholarship honors the memory of Heather Beach, a Dyslexia and Reading Interventionist who served in Humble ISD for over 20 years, and had a substantial impact on the lives of her students. Applicants must attend an Humble ISD high school and have a documented diagnosis of Dyslexia.

Applicants must attend Humble High School and participate in the athletic program as an athletic aide for at least three years.

Applicants must attend Humble High School and must intend to enroll in an accredited four-year, two-year college or vocational/technical program. Five senior students will each receive a $2,500 scholarship.

This scholarship recognizes the many efforts and achievements of the student athletic trainers at the five high schools within Humble ISD. A minimum of three senior seniors will receive a $1,500, $1,000 or $500 scholarship.

The Humble Noon Lions have served the Lake Houston community for over 40 years. Lions serve locally and internationally in so many different ways including fully developed programs, service resources and funding opportunities to make improvements in childhood cancer, diabetes, disaster relief, environment, humanitarian efforts, hunger, vision, youth. This scholarship intends to support students in Humble ISD who share a passion for service to others in need in our local community. Three senior students will each receive a $2,500 scholarship.

Trey Kraemer, who has worked in public education for 34 years, personally understands the importance education can have on a person's life and has exemplified his personal motto, "Attitude is Everything," throughout his career. Applicants for this scholarship must attend Summer Creek High School and have a minimun GPA of 3.0. One senior student will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Applicants must attend Kingwood High School, have at least a 3.0 GPA, be a participant in the KHS band program, and intend to enroll in a college, university, or vocational school in Texas. One student will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Applicants must attend Kingwood Park High School and have participated in choir for at least two years. Four senior students will receive a $750 scholarship.

Applicants must attend Kingwood Park High School and be Thespians or Honor Thespians in the Kingwood Park Theatre Department with a minimum of 20 Thespian points.

The KPark WJ Scholarship was created to assist a student pursuing a college degree. The recipient must be a graduating senior at Kingwood Park High School, have a minimum 2.9 cumulative GPA (out of a 4.0 unweighted grading scale), have completed (or be currently enrolled in) a college prep course (i.e., AVID, dual credit, AP, OnRamps, etc.), and exhibit financial need and difficulty obtaining other college funding.

Applicants must be male students who attend Kingwood High School and participated in at least one UIL sport or cheerleading during 7th and 8th grade at Riverwood Middle School. Two seniors will receive a $500 scholarship.

Applicants must attend Kingwood High School, be a current member of the KHS PTSA, have at least a 2.5 GPA, and intend to pursue a four-year college/university or technical institute. Three senior students will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Applicants must have attended Kingwood Middle School for at least one school year, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and be a member of a local PTA. One senior student will receive a $500 scholarship.

Selected student-athletes will receive a $1,500 scholarship based on applications that take into account athletic participation, leadership, academics, a written essay, and an interview. Multiple scholarships will be awarded to both men and women student-athletes.

This scholarship was established to honor William and John Kirk by helping future graduates of Kingwood High School meet their educational goals. Two KHS graduating seniors will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship.

The Kylie Pope Scholarship Foundation has been established to honor the life, character and spirit of Kylie Pope. Applicants must be graduating seniors who participated in Cross Country and/or Track & Field at Atascocita High School or Summer Creek High School. Multiple female and male student athletes will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

This scholarship was created in memory of Humble High School principal Larry Johnson. Applicants must attend Humble High School and must be involved in high school and community organizations; has received honors and awards and has held positions within those organizations. One senior student will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

The Lawrence and Patricia Carrier Foundation, Inc. Scholarship was created in memory of Lawrence Lee Carrier. At least one $1,000 will be awarded annually. Applicants must attend Sconzo Early College High School, have at least a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

Applicants must attend Atascocita High School, have at least a 2.5 GPA and intend to enroll in a two-year vocational/technical program. At least one senior student will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Applicants must attend Kingwood High School and must plan to enroll in a full-time accredited college or university. One student will receive a $500 scholarship.

Applicants must attend Kingwood High School or Kingwood Park High School, have at least a 2.5 GPA, and must be a member of the KHS or KPHS tennis team during their senior year. Four senior students will receive a $1,000 scholarship. One male and one female student will be selected from both Kingwood High School and Kingwood Park High School.

The Nancy Transier Memorial Scholarship honors the memory of Nancy Transier, a teacher, mentor, friend, and beloved member of the community. Applicants must attend Kingwood HS or Kingwood Park HS and have completed 5th grade at Greentree Elementary School. They must be in the top half of their class and plan to attend a trade/vocation school or a 2-year college.

The Night of Hope Scholarship is sponsored by the Hope Legacy Collective and Skero's Furniture to provide financial support to graduating FFA seniors from Humble ISD. Recipients will be awarded at the Night of Hope event during the Humble Rodeo and must be present to win. At least three scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each will be awarded to students in the five high school FFA programs.

The applicant must plan to attend college, university, community college, or vocational/technical school in the Fall of 2025. Two senior students will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

This scholarship is in honor of Ralph Kirchhofer, Jr. and was established by his wife, Lynda, to support those entering the healthcare field. Applicants must attend an Humble ISD high school and plan to pursue a career in healthcare with a focus on skilled nursing and rehabilitation services. One senior will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Applicants must intend to pursue a vocational certification in the auto technician or auto collision field. Five senior students will receive a $2,000 scholarship.

This scholarship is in honor of Richard O'Keefe, III, "Tres," who was a graduate of Atascocita High School. Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to graduating seniors from Atascocita High School - one female and one male - who participated on the golf team.

Applicants must attend Humble High School, must have attended River Pines Elementary, and must have at least a 2.5 GPA. Applicants must intend to pursue a four-year college degree or technical institute. One senior student will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

This scholarship is in honor of Jaden Wang. Applicants must be graduating seniors who attend Kingwood High School and attended Shadow Forest Elementary School for at least 4 years. Students must be planning to study in the healthcare field. One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded.

The Skylar Gallow Memorial Scholarship was established in loving memory of Skylar Gallow, who passed away on March 2, 2025. Applicants must be graduating from an Humble ISD High School and must have attended Oaks Elementary School and/or Timberwood Middle School. One senior student will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

This scholarship is open to students who are graduating from an Humble ISD high school and attended Creekwood Middle School. One senior male and one senior female student will each receive a $500 scholarship.

Humble Wildcats All-Sports Booster Club is a parent organization that works in conjunction with the coaching staff to support and enhance ALL of the athletic programs at Humble High School. Three student-athletes will receive a $1,000 scholarship based on applications that take into account leadership, athletic participation, academics, and a written essay.
All references to scholarship amounts are based on historical awards. However, the Humble ISD Education Foundation reserves the right to adjust award amounts based on economic and market conditions.
