Ralph MacFarlane Kirchhofer, Jr.

Ralph MacFarlane Kirchhofer, Jr. lived a rich life filled with the blessings of family and career. After graduating from Haverford High School in Pennsylvania in 1962, he earned a degree from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven, Connecticut in 1966. Ralph met and married his college sweetheart, Lynda, and began a teaching and coaching career at Hopkins Grammar School in New Haven, where he worked from 1966 to 1986. He remains beloved among the Hopkins Wrestling Alumni.

Ralph then utilized his administrative capabilities and coaching skills as a corporate manager with Pierce Business Archives/Iron Mountain from 1986 to 2001. Upon his retirement in 2001, Ralph and Lynda dedicated themselves to full-time work as Bible teachers and church planters in British Columbia for the next 22 years.

This scholarship was established by his wife, Lynda, to support those entering the healthcare field with a passion for skilled nursing and rehabilitation services.
