Who We Are

Where Inspiration Meets Innovation

We know the difference between a good education and a great one is those extras: from the teacher who helps you master long-division after school, to the new chemistry lab that sparks a lifelong passion, to the scholarship that lets you to attend the college of your dreams.

We make so many “extras” possible for our students, like the ADA-compliant, handicap-accessible sports complex; the Comfort Dog program in an elementary school counselor’s office; and the service-learning project that resulted in a new home for a deserving family in the community.

We raise money from community members, local businesses, corporations, and other foundations to fund initiatives that fall outside the school district’s normal operating budget. The Foundation awarded over $1 million to Humble ISD schools in the 21-22 school year, contributing to the district’s reputation for exceptional schools.

Humble ISD educates over 48,000 students each year and consistently attracts families looking for an outstanding school system. In addition to being the 2015 winner of the H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards for a Large District, the State Comptroller's Financial Allotment Study of Texas (FAST) found that Humble ISD schools demonstrate “high” student achievement with “very low” spending, thanks in part to the financial support of the Foundation.

But we can’t do it without you. Our tax base in Humble ISD is over 75% residential with very little industrial base, putting our schools at a disadvantage in terms of local tax revenue. In order to continue our schools’ history of excellence, we need your support and donations.

We are a proud member of two critical organizations in the advancement of education foundations both in Texas and nationally:  Texas Education Foundation Network and National School Foundation Association.
